Front-End Modules

Calsonic Kansei has won its first contract to supply front-end modules in Europe. Drawing on it’s global experience in this field, CK Europe will assume tier one responsibility for supplying the complete assembly to the Customer. (See drawing.)

Starting in early 2004 we shall be supplying over 90,000 modules per year from our plant near Barcelona, Spain.

Cockpit Module Business

Together with our joint venture company, CK Europe will commence supply of its first cockpit module in late 2002 at a rate of 100,000 modules per year.

Although this is our first application in Europe, CK has been at the forefront of this technology in Japan and the USA for several years.
